I have had to take a pause on my projects because I am prioritizing looking for a new job. I also recently enrolled in a program to learn IT/cybersecurity to try to think long term future goals.
I’m pivoting and planning to frame my game jam experience as transferrable skills hopefully!
When I heard you were working on a new Ren'Py trick, my interest was piqued but couldn't imagine what it would look like until I saw it. I like it, I think it adds to the liveliness and texture! I look forward to seeing the evolution

For Neotwiny jam, there's a few ideas I have in mind. The first one is a wlw story about a cook who interviews a ghost to prepare a special dish but I have yet to determine why or how 🤔Ideally it could be a standalone to a larger "supernatural diner" concept I'm brewing

Why is it that when there is no word cap, I can barely write over 100 words, but I've been thinking of participating in Neo-Twiny Jam 2025 which has a maximum of 500 words and suddenly I can't drum up anything that stays under that limit 😅. It's definitely more fun to work with constraints though

This is super cute! And I think having socials directly on display at the end works well since it’s at a natural pause point where people like to dive into other screens from links/socials without missing out on content
I feel this in my core rn! Compared to when I put projects on hiatus, I just feel more motivated in general again and using the experience as a conduit to self-learn more skills applicable in career pivots
I'm at the writing phase called "no writing, only listening to songs on repeat", assuming that my emotions will write words on their own. I also nervously pace the hallway and see flashes of my game idea -except when I stop walking the visions disappear like elusive fairies. My brain, a wind-up toy.
