I think this is a good piece that reminds me that certain parts of creativity aren't necessarily creative. Learning which notes go where or even drawing exercises are really methodical and not creative in of itself but lead to creativity down the track. Honestly, I sometimes yearn for a cue as well.

You know, this has always crossed my mind in to how to help people who have been let go from work/need work. With VAs I can think of how to hire them for small projects but for game devs? How in the heck do I help them?

I salute you for getting the skill to localise. I bailed out when I realise that it took a big amount of knowledge of English to do well which I very much lack. It does make sense because I know the machine translation would stick to my mind too.

Yeah. Kind of why I stopped translating because I translate things exactly like that. People really like localisation and it's definitely a skill that people work on and cannot really be substituted with machine translations. Disappointing to hear.

I need @daiz.moe to parse this since it's early in the morning for me. I imagine there will be people who will localise it since there is a way to do it on your own but...someone who is more familiar with localisation then my cursory knowledge might be better.
