wish there were laws around this. for me it feels like such a blind spot, id even push a little and say even if someone is kind about lending, people should still be held liable. we have so many laws around other things, sometimes to the point that its just there for control. but nothing for this

i also recently found out my nan (she wasnt in the best state of mind before she passed) gave her neighbour 25,000 for a car. he kept it. like i just dont know, im not sure how you can do this stuff to people. we're not talking about a 20, or 50, like hundreds to thousands. its terrifying to me
