The source told CBS News that leadership asked for "large, beefy" agents to conduct an arrest of Comey "in full kit," including Kevlar vests and exterior wear emblazoned with the FBI logo. It was suggested that Chris Ray, a supervisory special agent in the violent crimes division of the FBI's Washington Field Office, would be able to put together the kinds of agents who fit the bill, the source said. Ray refused to participate in this plan, believing it would be inappropriate and highly unusual for a white-collar defendant like Comey, according to the source. He was then suspended for insubordination.

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.

I've said this before, but I feel pretty strongly that the building of concentration camps - and now, the inevitable disappearance of 1,800 people from those camps - is the biggest story in American public health right now that isn't being treated like one
I understand the intention but I'm a thousand percent done with any "do something to take care of yourself"-type sentiments that aren't followed by "what can I take off your plate to make that possible?", y'know?
The administration is not powerful enough to crack down on all opposition to fascism. In all likelihood, this is chiefly a performative measure intended to intimidate people.
It will only be possible to impose fascist control on this society as a whole if people stop resisting. Keep fighting. 🏴
