The fix to my Immich problems were to... regress it to 2.1.0.

No clue how it was functioning before, but it was working on and off before on 2.5.3, which doesn't seem to exist.

Mmkay. Pretty much boiled it down to being a Plasma thing Qt + Plymouth are unhappy.
No KDE for me. Maybe it's time to try out GNOME

O I use CachyOS. Couldn't recreate the problem on any Fedora based distro.

AMD + Wayland. Things were running well when I had an Nvidia GPU, but on a fresh install of CachyOS, Plymouth causes infinite loading. Removing Plymouth 'fixed' it, but booting now takes forever 😭

I really don't know whyyy my small change in hardware is making my Linux run worse.
Dual monitors + Plymouth are unhappy.

Sooo CachyOS/Arch is having issues booting with more than 1 monitor on AMD gpus?
Bazzite has read only root, so I can't fix the namespaces afaik, at least not easily.

I guess im stuck on Windows for now
