While waiting for official support which is supposed to happen in next C# version, I'm using Dunet. Have you tried that? Building it is always a great learning experience though, congrats!!

Agree! Microsoft is providing the interfaces in a .Abstractions package for all the latest Extensions packages. Seems like a good example/naming convention
