Period detail is extremely accurate! However, need to bear in mind that story is told from POV of aristocratic class (however impoverished). There's a lot one could say about Bradley's clear infatuation with royalist conservative British culture. Fortunately, he also reflects this humourously.

Yes! I really fervently hope they keep (updated, ofc) this whole aspect of being in a real and a virtual world. It's unfortunately hard to explain to people who haven't played the games (I also play SAO and it's different).

I love reading the entries in the News compilation. What looks at first glance like a tedious chore ... actually turns up gems like this one. Considering the age of the G.U. version and its base material, there are so many insightful and prescient ideas floated.
