:(
Just saw a reel where a woman was freaking out about chalazae in eggs. βDoes anyone know what this part of the egg is? Is it safe to eat?β
Surely googling would take less time than uploading a video to instagram
Heβs been super-annoying this awards season
Iβm good after learning about the rape-suicide storyline they had planned for Inara. I wish all the actors, bar one, wellβ¦ but that show can stay dead
But I tip so well!
I wish I hadnβt been watched that Chalamet interview. I was already annoyed by him.
But Gladio is the himbo! Airhead twink, snooty art gay, goth, himbo! Perfect gay friend group
Instagram keeps doing horrible AI translations of Spanish reels. I can understand Spanish! The AI clearly canβt
Call and Response was on the recommended list for best collection, and is eligible for votes.
Just, no.
This was a few years ago. They used βsheβ pronouns, and I pointed out that Billy uses βheβ and it ended up a whole big thing
Ohhh, I got into a yelling match over someone misgendering Billy Martin
I never thought Iβd have βno gay cowboysβ asshole Sam Elliott as a hear me out
Presumably the author is young enough to have read A Wrinkle in Time or A Wizard of Earthsea as a child. Either of those clears HP.
Hell, Ramona Quimby, Age 8 has better characterisation
The last book in the series came out 19 years ago
Those who contribute less will have to wait longer to apply. This includes those low-skilled workers, who arrived in recent years, who would otherwise receive immediate access to welfare and social housing. Should that be allowed to happen, this cost would be borne by hard-working taxpayers across the country, and place yet more pressure on already stretched public services.
How on earth do you call yourself βLabourβ and have such open disdain for the workers who take care of your sick and elderly, for the people who walked to work during lockdown to provide aid to the dying in overburdened care homes. You say youβll prioritise high earners and then dare call this fair.
Labourβs response to their flailing popularity is to follow Reformβs example by scapegoating vulnerable people and making a cruel, expensive, and humiliating process crueller. Itβs unlikely to convince many people. Anyone who wants the cruelty will go for Reform.
Restoring order isnβt even a dog whistle. One of the first things I did as citizen was to fill out the public consultation on these changes. In exhaustive detail I explained how each change was inequitable & unjust using reasoned examples. This took four hours.

I legitimately think Sam Altman should be tried for crimes against humanity
I think if you are ignorant of the actual systemic problems and the ways in which the hegemony has operated to maintain its dominance, you should perhaps not mock people who are affected by those problems.
Also no idea why you brought up Citizens United, when I mentioned the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Not really relaxant! Iβm. Referring to Shelby County v Holder in 2013, and subsequent rulings by the Roberts court that have weakened the provisions put into place by congress to protect voting rights.
Youβre the one assuming that no one is fighting. It isnβt at all true, but itβs always been an uphill battle. You think all the βanti-wokeβ rhetoric, destruction of educational curriculum, and valorization of the confederacy is in response to nothing?
Iβm sure that straw man you attacked is hurting. The rev Dr Martin Luther King, Jr didnβt do things by his self. It took a broad coalition of people to make the smallest improvements. And he was reviled and murdered for it. And the backlash has been continuous.
Iβll just go to the voting rules store and single-handedly overturn hundreds of years of tactics designed to keep Black people from voting up to the Supreme Court gutting the VRA, me.
I have been figuring out how a space tyrant got the plumbing to work in a mountain sized tourmaline carved out as their palace
But youβre good at posting.
How do I solve my insomnia problem?
You could give me 200 dollars.
High drama *and high camp? Oh my sweet Susan Sontag!
Ready to read this by a roaring fire then drain a flute of champagne in one pull, waiting to be slapped.
