This was satisfying to me ^^ The framing on this one feels a lil chaotic, but honestly that's how I've felt in general lately so it feels fitting, I've been struggling with overthinking my gposes a bit lately, forever stuck in the "I have a fucktillion ideas, fluctuating energy, and zero motivation" trench. I wanted to get back into it and still really do, but insecurity has been eating at me and I've accidentally become a lil distant to my friends, and honestly always kinda felt alienated from any greater communities ingame/here on bsky in general, still wrapped up in minecraft/helldivers/snowrunner instead, my headspace has been a bit of a mess so I haven't been around much :c I'm trying my best though, I know y'all understand ♥ Drink water, punch racists & facists, fuck GenAI, and love yourself ♥ Lyrics from "Vampire Reference in a Minor Key" by Will Wood~ ♫

i'm tired of tending to this fire.

Sanguine kneels on her knees wearing nothing but ropes wrapping around her body and binding her legs together, as well as light pink cross pasties, one hand is resting on her leg in front of her and the other holding her foot to support behind her. She is sitting facing to the right. Behind her is a brightly illuminated window in a grid pattern centered to the camera, casting light on Sanguine from all sides leaving the camera-side the darkest (I do this a lot I've noticed hehe, ive started calling it Eclipse lighting because she's the moon in front of the light :3) with the straight pattern of the window offering a contrast to the angled crisscrosses of the ropes around Sanguine's body. I didn't really have a plan here besides having seen a simple inspo pic and wanting to put the rat in ropes again, It's a little on the overexposed side (in a few ways, perhaps?) but I really wanted the light to pop and I've been experimenting with my shaders a bit lately, You're welcome for the boobs, lmfao Drink water, stretch often, punch pedophiles, support trans folk, and treat yourselves with kindness, the world is dark, be the needed light~ Lyrics from "Ghosts that we knew" by Mumford & Sons~ ♫

so bold and fearless in the risks we'd take laugh in the face of gravity as its laws we'd break on our trampolines so high, we'd reach for the sky. but i do not look up anymore and i don't know why.

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
