...the challenge is projects tend to be a "do-cracy" as in people who show up and do the work get influence... the only thing we've found that really helps with improving diversity over time is multiple products/vendors based on upstream and mentorships www.cncf.io/blog/2024/11...
Jeremy Richard explaining project governance.

Getting some last minute supplies at @wholefoods365.bsky.social and let someone cut in front of me in line since they had far fewer items. She handed me a gift card on her way out to say thank you. Thank you kind person 🙏 Made my day. 🎄
I also loved this talk!
@illumi.meme I’m still stuck at how they actually ran into each other - that’s trauma. I’m so sorry for your brother. 💔 and your loss as well. Time only attempts to dim.
every boxing movie is basically about this transformation
I don’t know Derek but I ❤️ Derek
I’ll trade you the IRS 😓 Hope you can negotiate that bill down..
I just did my first interview with a journalist about Bluesky and the AT Protocol. I'm finally at the point where I can talk confidently about this stuff and see enough potential to genuinely be optimistic about the future.
Last night I had a dream I was using Bluesky on a Pip Boy.
This morning, with a combination of Claude, Cursor and Xcode I knocked this out with my morning cup of coffee.
Holy shit I might actually release this.
Awww! You caught him! Happy bday ❤️
That’s their occupation. Don’t take their jobs!
He’s a cat… don’t judge
Happy birthday!! 😻
Having a ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ watch/binge party on Saturday for Season 6. (No spoilers!!)
Most important question: which Nadja should I dress up as? 🧛♀️
This site has launched with two great examples and several in the queue! Is there a reference architecture or cloud native pattern YOU want to share? Anything that can be made more clear? PRs welcome!
FYI - The cncf has an official account on bsky now - @cncf.io
Nothing posted yet, but will in the future 👍
I have created a Bluesky list bsky.app/profile/did:... for CNCF Ambassadors. If you are one of the approximately 250 members, please reply to this post so I can find you and add you.
Great quote from @karenaangell.bsky.social at the KubeCon “Tick TAG TOC” talk: “if we don’t identify the processes we can’t automate them away”.
Love to meet @karenaangell.bsky.social in her hometown SLC ❄️❄️❄️ at #KubeConNA

#RedHat is contributing three projects to the #CNCF to help their communities grow.:
- Podman
- Bootc
- Podman Desktop
This contribution will also help the CNCF expand into not just deployment, but desktop container development. #kubecon
The team worked really hard all weekend to prepare projectbluefin.io 's new stable channel.
Our dream of a CoreOS desktop is nearly ready with multiple branches to fit our user's needs.
See you at #kubecon!
(Resurrecting a thread i posted elsewhere!)
"I want to contribute to Kubernetes, how do i get started?"
First step join kubernetes slack at slack.k8s.io (Join at least #kubernetes-dev)
Second step browse the contributor oriented resources at k8s.dev
@kubernetes.dev @kubernetes.io #kubecon
I’m back on Bluesky since it looks like it’s maturing and stabilized. ( Being caught down the rabbit hole was 🤯) .. Looking forward to seeing how the community has developed here 👀
