A screen shot if a quote post. The text reads "People like this think they are being funny or clever but really they are just being assholes." The attached tweet is from a blocked user.
This is the perfect skeet.
What a silly coincidence, I support Newsom in everything but a presidential race
It's as if this guy has never seen a Starbuck's ad campaign.
Does he think it's hyper-individualistic to order a Spicy Crispy Chicken Deluxe?
There is no such thing as "equality in everything but" any more than there is equality for most people and not others. Anyone who tells you otherwise does not understand the notion of "equality" and probably does not happen to be included in the exceptions to it.
Harris has an extensive record of creating and aggressively enforcing policies to protect transgender folks. You've dug up one line from an interview and are pretending that's more important than an actual policy record. You're not a serious person.
She also **IN THAT VERY INTERVIEW** spoke about civil rights protections in existing federal law and her position that they applied to transgender people.
I'm guessing you never actually watched the interview and have been basing this all on a single line from it.
Speaking of bad faith, here is what Harri said **IN THAT VERY INTERVIEW**:
โI believe that all people should be treated with dignity and respect, period, and should not be vilified for who they are, and should not be bullied for who they are."
So ... wait ... you *don't* understand the distinction between rhetoric and policy? Like, for real?
I am relentlessly low tech, tho.
I sometimes get RPG-related presents, or spring for the physical copy on Kickstarter, or stumble on a cute little game shop and am feeling flush.
But mostly I bring a stack of printouts and some plastic dice to my tables.
Print-and-play, baby!
Some folks are out there turning it into a side hustle, and maybe for those folks all these little add-ons might make (some) sense? Idk - I don't know any of those people.
And some folks are collectors, and just want all the doodads. It doesn't appeal to me, but I don't judge. Run wild!
Well, great!
If we agree that *voters* decide elections, not candidates, then you should be able to see that it would be possible to run a *perfect* campaign and still lose, right?
So losing an election doesn't imply a failure in the campaign, does it?
In the voting booth? Sure - in a general election, they can offer a less advantageous governing posture than their opponent(s).
Elections are't morality plays. We're not choosing a new best friend or something.
I don't care who the interview was with; that is rhetoric rather than policy. Does that distinction really escape you?
These ppl tried to shame you? When? How?
I did not, in fact, know what you meant.
Are you saying, now, that you blame Biden for 2016? Seems odd.
They don't pass bills, tho. That's not how it works.
And Harris wasn't the President, was she?
For 2026? What 2026 candidates are you talking about?
... and you blame *Biden* for 2026?
What is going on?!
"Their" strategy? Who is "they" in this sentence?
... you *deny* that voters determine the outcome of elections? That's really your position?
DNC didn't force anything, buddy. Biden won the primary.
Not that your preferred policies aren't virtuous and special. They are, don't worry.
I think there's a fair likelihood that there wasn't One Weird Trick to winning on 2016 or 2024.
I know it's fun to blame women for everything, and Americans have been doing that for a long time. But maybe consider that adopting your preferred policies really wouldn't have changed anything.
So maybe - just maybe - it's **voters** who decide election outcomes and not **candidates**. I think, perhaps, you should spend some time thinking about that.
You don't know me and you have no idea what I did i 2016 or 2024, so stfu.
You're big mad at ... not *their* strategies, I guess, but random people online? Idk, it's weird. But those strategies (you admit) worked in 2020. And, again, they worked on *you* all three times.
One of us is, for sure.
... is it because of all the shame you feel?
Okay, okay - so misogyny *is* the through-line between 2016 and 2024.
Glad we cleared that up.
I bet you *totally* would have voted for Elisabeth Warren tho.
I'm super cruious about this - did that just not happen in 2020, or did it happen, but it was successful that time around? Was Biden the candidate w/ the perfect policies, but Clinton and Harris's polices were trash? I'm trying to work out the logic, here.
Oh, have you been feeling shame?
