Absolutely devastating to hear @cardiffuni.bsky.social are planning to cut their Religion and Theology department as well as their Music department - two schools I learned so much from during my BA and MTh degrees at Cardiff. A clear attack on the Humanities.

I was so fortunate to have studied music at Cardiff University, and my heart breaks knowing that so many students now won’t get to experience the wealth of knowledge and experience that the School of Music’s teachers had to offer. What a sad and devastating day for academia.
