I try to but I’ve always been selective with movies. Maybe next year I might start going to the cinema and THEN figure out what to watch.
Idk what the solution is. There’s definitely still an exhaustion from all the big budget stuff. Idk if the numbers reflect it but culturally at least.
I think the movies are great for what they are
But the problem is they’re insanely expensive and insanely profitable usually. So they’re all incentivized to pursue this model for any movie, not just marvel. I can live w marvel movies. The mid budget movies are suffering which is my main gripe.
