I finally convinced the Guardian to let me write about Vichy France and all it took was the fascist takeover of the US government and complete capitulation by the supposed opposition

This accords with the theory that they are figuring out the technology but have absolutely no idea how government works.

"of the 36 people we lost in the last year an overwhelming amount were young and people of color, with Black trans women disproportionately impacted. Many victims were killed by a friend, family, or romantic/sexual intimate partner, and guns were involved in the majority of cases.
