But but but won't the liberals or leftists spend like there's no tomorrow and pile on debt that cannot be afforded? How can it be the clear eyed party of business knowledge-havers who are doing this..s/

Indeed. It doesn't matter whether you personally believe climate change is real when the actuaries DO.

Geography clearly not their favourite course in High School, one gathers....

Are these not the same geniuses begging UKR to share their anti-shahed knowledge asap? How is that supposed to work?

If you want a good example of development of modern combined arms (ie blitzkrieg), ypu might look at a biography of Gen. Monash from Australia. He did pioneering work in this area, including aerial resupply of advance units.

Ok, the US may declare victory and go do something else next week. But there's no guarantee the Iranians would see it all as water under the bridge. It's much too late for that....

Gluttony for punishment? Why would she want anything to do with someone who makes her former boss look like a genius with a powerful moral sense...

Well, to be fair, they've had since the 1050's to take the measure..

Wierdly, it just might work.....so long as we emphasize the 'strategic energy reserve' effect of renewables. Nat Gas domestic heating may hang around for awhile barring major subsidy programs. O&G becomes an export good with a long-term decline expectation.

It's like she's channeling Humpty Dumpty in 'Alice in Wonderland'. The whole 'a word means what I mean it to mean" thing. The sheer oblivousness to any outside reality is impressive.

Well, he'd have to go to Congress to accomplish that. But does the Trumpocracy have a Congress? Doesn't look like it.

Sometimes people are so lonely and disconnected they lose their grip on reality. You're doing him a kindness even he is in decline.

Ok That's a new one. As a (former - it mostly fell out) redhead, I can confirm he is incorrect. But I would say that, wouldn't I?

If I recall correctly, VZ ramp up would take years and even then it is quite sour, so there may be refinery capacity constraints as well. It isn't a short term solution regardless of very high resource estimates.

Oil is oil is oil right? Obvious! All the gasoline i put in my car is the same, so why wouldn't that be true of oil when it comes out of the ground?

There's actually a thing called "Lowy body dementia" in which the brain sees things that aren't there. Not exactly hallucinations, which are dreamlike, but things as clear and concrete as anything else you see. Worse, the person often is initially perfectly cogent otherwise.

Possibly, but these symptoms can come and go. When I worked in government dealing with municipal matters, we would occasionally receive highly detailed and fantastical urban designs from people who clearly were off meds and manic. This sounds very similar.

Well. That was...something. Not a doctor, but that sounds like a psychotic break that he was lucky to swim away from. He could easily have drowned chasing his hallucinations.

If ypu were an Iranian civilian, you'd have to worry what would kill you first, an IRGC bullet because you were a 'traitor' or a USAF/IDF munition because your demonstration got misinterpreted as a target....any sensible person would 'wait and see'....

Thanks. Not on Libby yet for the Toronto library. Will keep an eye out for it!

A number of people have made the point that renewable especially wind and solar are equivalent to a 'strategic reserve', and thus should be highly prioritized. Recent grid announces are positive facilitators as well.

Thanks for the recommendation! Now following Dr. Stanley.

That may be a smidge optimistic.

Women's contributions usually go unrecognized, and I am glad to see at least this memorial. There's a Netflix movie about Norwegian merchant sailors in the convoys. One character was female but, it wasn't 'wokery' (/s), it was recognizing fact. Many women sailed. Some died....

Reminiscent of the old Ontario Workmen's Comp ads. The ones where the guy steps on a nail (wear safety boots!) or where a shard from a cold chisel comes off in slow motion to blind a guy (wear safety goggles!) left an indelible impression. Horror movie-worthy scenes...

But but but...the King said "make it so!". Are you trying to suggest there are limits to his will? Shocking! /s, obviously....
