Big sigh. I’ll be so happy when it’s done. #beading

Maarsii! I’m renegotiating my relationship with food. It’s been a process.
This summer I was diagnosed as being celiac, so I’m living vicariously through your baking. I swear I can smell it from way over here.
Some art pieces I made for an educational program. Each piece illustrates stories & ideas around the Métis experience in the Buffalo Hunt & Fur Trade.

Artist vs Art
Métis week was last week. I made a little video about it. Also, I need a week to recover from last week. Music is by Alex Kusturok and the jiggers are Northern Lites from Kikino.
This is Rip. Rip is a wellness dog with CAAWLS. He wants you to know he’s got extra soft fur and loves pets, in case you ever see him when he’s working.

A beaded flower, with a star sapphire and freshwater Pearl centre. The petals are warm colours and the outline are cool colors.
Beaded flowers is what I’m known for, so why disappoint. This has a black star sapphire centre, freshwater pearls, and some nifty multi sized beads. A statement piece that was a lot of fun to make. #beading
This but beaded.

A teacup and saucer with a thistle print, adorned with matching thistle earrings

I’m here now too 🥰
I love those portraits- they were so fun and satisfying to make.
