Finally got my copy of @debugmag.com where I make an appearance in @aguaspoints.bsky.social’s new(ish) column dedicated to making games in the Anthropocene.
The magazine is so good and the rest of the issue is packed with wonderful features and articles.

Hey, for real, if you haven't played Sol Cesto, you should def check it out. Even if rougelite games aren't your thing, the game is just a great testament to emergent, but light cognitive load, strategy.

TIL that you can reference class names in gdsript within comments quite easily without using external plugins.
Make sure whatever .gd script you want to link to has a class_name. Then put that class within []. Then you can ctl+click to directly access.

Just finished the demo of @apthomson.bsky.social’s Titantium Court this morning and it’s probably one of the best “demos that makes me want to keep playing” releases I’ve experienced in a while.
So much humor and polish for an experience so seemingly… simple?
