Studies of Kendrick Lamar Usually with my art I've used raster layers because that's how I used to draw on Photoshop. But this time around learning Clip Studio I learned how to use vector layers for lineart, changing up for workflow for the better.

Black and white photo of a medium haired tabby cat (it appears ginger to me) eating or drinking from a bowl on a light colored floor. That doesn't sound so great but it's a very well done photo. It is taken from directly in front of the cat down at its eye level and the focus is tight on the cat's face. You can see how beautiful it is, its serious expression, and every detail down to the last whisker while the body is out of focus and the background is simply a dark blur. It's almost like the cat is in a spotlight on a stage.

From a negative in my collection, ca. 1940s. No further info.

I LOVE THIS

The front half of a caterpillar, outlined in pink and purple and drawn with sharp lines. It is green with 3 light triangles on its face, 1 touching the edge on each side, and one in the middle. There are two legs sticking out from under the head, and 3 more along the rest of the body. It has two small oval shaped eyes. There are 3 spikes on each side of its head. It has two long horns on top of its head, each one has small spikes going up it. The horns end in two spikes. Towards the right side of the body there are small yellow and orange circles.

A sculpted supercell thunderstorm looms over a green landscape at night. A clear, starry sky sits beside the storm, while two clean lightning bolts protrude from the storm and illuminate the clouds with vibrant pink and purple hues.

Perhaps my favorite photo I've ever taken of a storm. Nothing beats structure and clean bolts under the stars.
