It’s ironic that the pre-colonoscopy diet includes things that are bad for colon health and excludes just about everything good for colon health. It’s my parents’ usual diet. Also it makes me lose my will to live. Thank goodness it’s only two days.

Maybe this is what you’re doing, but have you seen when people remap someone’s facial expressions and speech onto a different person’s face? This is often what looks wrong is the facial structure of the new face doesn’t match the motions of the original. (Sorry have not read paper yet)
I have wondered about the dual of this, and maybe you know the answer: is there a good reason for these expectations? E.g., we can detect muscle structure in the face which implies that it is used to moving in certain ways and not used to moving in others.

There is a bad tendency not to design in partnership with disabled people. I think, though, that’s not the target consumer: “grandpa who doesn’t have the energy he used to and wants to be able to take long walks with the kids”. I know quite a few “grandpas“ who want this if they can afford it.
