2025年はかなり日本に滞在した。母の介護が本格化したからだ。
合計すると、多分一年の半分以上になる。

夏には母の施設で、床にマットレスを敷いて二ヶ月添い寝した。
ぎっくり腰や肩の痛みは出たが、心はすっきりしていた。

母の施設から東京の仕事場まで、混んだ電車で片道二時間半通い、仕事場でシャワーを借りる日々。
イギリスの仕事もかなり断ったが、母を最優先にすると迷いは消えた。

あとどれだけ続くかはわからない。
今この瞬間、やりたいことを心を込めてやるだけ。
それができることに心底感謝。
宇宙、ありがとう。

In 2025, I spent much of the year in Japan, caring for my mother.
I slept beside her in her care home through the summer.
My body ached, but my heart felt clear.

I chose her over other work, without regret.
All I can do is give myself fully to what I’m called to do, here and now.
I’m so grateful.
