Picked up the first full prototype playfield for Voyager today!

No inserts or general illumination just yet, this one only has all of the holes cut for the major play mechanisms.

Yeeeah, it's definitely not a skilled player's machine. Good for beginners and casuals though, I think. The captured ball in the middle is kinda like bash toy and the rules can be explained in a single sentence.

'Couldn't pass it up for the theme though. It'll look great next to Shuttle!

It needs some adjustments here and there, but Voyager's new playfield is shaping up quite nicely!

The center of the figure 8 will be a hole. When the ball goes in, it'll normally be kicked out around the left orbit. If jackpot is lit, it becomes a gobble hole.

Potential leak of Stern's new Pokemon pinball. Straight-forward fan layout, only way to do a 2 flipper game. Nostalgic choices for included Pokemon. Ramps look like they correspond with types. If this is a 5 modes & 2 multiballs game I think it will do well with the intended audience.

Yeah, this is an excellent layout for newer players- which as an operator, is exactly what I wanted out of PokΓ©mon.

Backglass art is a little "eh" from me, but that ain't a concern. This game will set the record for the number of custom translites lol

I competed in a #StarFox Weekend Tournament and got 3rd! Not too shabby for doing zero practice; one player had been grinding since the start of the week! lol

One of the limiting factors of designing relay modules isn't just the strength of the solenoid vs the number of switches, but also the availability of screw lengths.

For instance: I'd love to put 6x2 mini-switches on this yellow relay, but no one sells a #3-48 screw that is long enough.

I'm currently redesigning the carousel that goes between the PCBs to better hold the contacts; leading to this little snap in cartridge.
