You cannot, it does the sorting and encoding for you for the entire table. But you can zorder the date column to improve query perf in spark.
By default all of them create VORDER.. with spark and pipeline you can control if you want to VORDER. DFg2 does it by default. Same w/ DWH (on by default).
Note: VORDER is for the entire table
