Cook a BUNCH of chicken in the crockpot then shred it with your hand mixer. Portion it out however you need it and season or set aside to eat as needed.

Weigh protein before cooking.

I like Premier Protein Cafe Latte.

Drink a chocolate milk immediately after lifting.

Eat!! You need to fuel your body. It’s begging you not to starve your muscles. Make sure you’re getting enough lean protein.

I wonder if it is this that caused me to wake up so angry today. Despite having a great day with my students, my brain was crowded with anger that I couldn’t figure out. I thought maybe it was because I dreamed about something that made me angry, but maybe not.

Today I can’t shake my sadness about the lack of empathy that some people have for our students. I don’t think that worried students should be sent off to someone else for reassurance when they voice their worry to us. They talk to us hoping we will tell them things will work out.

Ts, when bad/scary shit happens with a S, does anyone ever check on you or do they all just let you deal alone?

I saw Neil Gaiman & Art Spiegelman speak on Monday, and they were asked about getting unstuck. Gaiman said he just pretends to know what he’s doing. Spiegelman said he does something else creative for a bit.

I like the idea of pretending to know what I’m doing.

I love those sticky tabs! It’s always a tough choice when you have cute ones. Sometimes, I just rip 3x3 stickys into strips. lol

This week took it all out of me. I really need (certain) people to hear me when I talk and make the right decisions for everyone.
