A graphic with text that says, 'One thing I wish Iβd known about grief is....'. It invites you to fill in the blank with your own words or experience.
What has grief taught you that you wish you knew before? π
We invite you to fill in the blank, share a helpful quote, or write a piece of advice.
Your words could help someone feel less alone with their grief. Let's support our community together. π

When Ian was told his cancer was untreatable, his one wish was to spend his last days at home, with the family he loved. A wish made possible by our team. π
His daughter, Mikala, shares what this meant to their family.

Pictured: A photo of Barbara-Anne Walker with her quote from the statement. βThis funding is a welcome investment in our buildings, but it wonβt pay for nurses, care, or the vital day-to-day services our community relies on. People in North Derbyshire are being forced to fundraise to pay for essential care that is fully NHS-funded just a few miles away in the south of the county. Thatβs not right. We will keep fighting for a funding system that is fair, sustainable, and reflects the true cost of delivering outstanding end of life care.β
We will receive a share of the Governmentβs newly released Β£75 million capital funding for hospices in England.
While we are grateful for this funding, it is important to be clear that it cannot be used for care, staff, or day-to-day services.
