We haven't been active recently due to the difficulty of getting in-person speakers in ABQ and not finding value in being yet another virtual-only group. But I'd be very interested in getting some new folks involved to overcome those issues!
Wasn't Datbar Bicks in one of the Star Wars films?

Ah, the good ol' days!

Well, there goes my productivity for the rest of the day..
For me it was the "who" I had to regretfully leave out.
Came up with a slightly different take. Hopefully you'll see it in Atlanta... or Barcelona!
That's good! Unfortunately I wasn't clever enough to think of it before I hit submit!

There must be a rogue owner-related line in the code base somewhere that raises hell if it's commented out or deleted. :-)
Just lost a day of work because I didn't recognize the #Fabric error I was getting as indicating an ownership issue. I still don't understand what benefit exists by having object ownership still be a thing...

I'd point you to one of my current clients, but it's a little too late...
Unfortunately, I think you're "underestimating" C-level executives.
I fully understand this, but having been a machinist in a previous career, I'm in no rush to go back!
I'm really not liking this new trend of events stepping on long-standing local user groups without co-ordinating with them. The latest offenders: meetu.ps/e/P8jgm/9rDN...
Yeah, I suppose I gave to oay that anyway.
So I can attend a one-day for-profit data event for $350 or go to a Data Saturday / SQL Saturday community event for just $15... Tough choice...
Make sure you tell him the one about why all the ships in the Swedish navy have bar codes on the bottom...
Looking forward to helping out moderating for @brianbonk.bsky.social and Stephanie Bruno while they lead us through preparing for your #Fabric certification exam. Join us now at www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfsP... !
