That was unintentional but as a fan of extremely deliberate misinterpretation I support that reading.

Today I got served up an ad by McDonald's for their new product. Product. Product. Product.

A Facebook ad I just encountered. They seriously don't get it. We don't want product. We want food.

We have a few. The eggs won't start developing until a goose goes broody. At this stage they are culinarily the same as unfertililized eggs.

We put them back and our clock of six domestic geese will grow too big for our one acre to support in the winter time. It is important to fix cats and dogs and prevent a surplus of domestic yard birds by collecting their eggs.

I used to laugh at the idea but after trying it I'm a convert. Single handedly the most efficient tool for the job with the best results.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup

Whole wheat sandwich bread, sharp cheddar, Sriracha. Mayo for the grilling.

We were losing 1-3 chickens a year to hawks. Hawks don't want to be anywhere near geese. We have lost zero chickens to hawks in the years that we've had the geese.

The eggs are a springtime bonus. Their main purpose is to scare off Hawks from eating our chickens and they also mow the yard.

We have males.

If we let our geese hatch out every egg they laid we would be overrun with geese. We have 1 acre and that is just large enough to support six geese through the winter. It's important to fix your cats and dogs and to not let domestic geese overpopulate.

Duck eggs also have that 50 50 ratio between white and yolk. So the only real difference is the size. Trying to split a goose egg for small batches is not easy or fun, so you really want a batch size that requires three chicken or two duck eggs.
