It seems we need funding that matches the importance of this approach to quantum gravity. Tabletop itβs not.

The Democrats just have to hire a top Canadian Liberal party strategist. They get elected even when theyβre down 20 points. Policy so doesnβt matter.
Zero statistics in the article. I know people who quit firefighting over health risk reasons, but researching the stats would have made it more convincing.
Putin is happy about this. Part of his plan.
Whitehouse.gov used to run on wordpress - for a long time. It's more secure than almost any other platform, billions of attacks per day. The DODGE site is case in point. All the latest, rooted within a week or two.
Thanks! I liked the article. Don't know how I missed it.

"all cases" All is a pretty big word, but I don't think offshore wind will survive more than a few decades.
The ocean is hard on equipment and expensive to operate in. In the UK, contracts for offshore wind are 3x that of natural gas or nuclear. Denmark couldn't get anyone to build offshore wind at their latest auction. www.reuters.com/sustainabili...
Offshore wind is so expensive that using it effectively kills moves to get off gas, oil and coal.
Could be argued

The comet from meaford. On a phone. Looked
Great in my 12x36 image stabilized binoculars!
I feel sorry for you.
A bright binary star surrounded by a colorful nebula on the black background of space. The star in the center is a large white spot surrounded by a circular glow. It has a large, X-shaped set of diffraction spikes around it. The nebula extends far above, below, left and right of the star in long, arcing shapes made of thin, multicolored filaments β mostly red and greenish colors, but lit in a bright cyan near the star where its light illuminates the gas.
NEW: Hubble has provided a dramatic and colorful close-up of one of the most rambunctious stars in our galaxy, weaving a huge spiral pattern among the stars. R Aquarii undergoes violent eruptions that blast out huge filaments of glowing gas: bit.ly/3Uazoyd π π§ͺ

Image of Zotero running with an annotated paper.
Zotero @zotero.bsky.social - thanks for version 7 - much much faster (Native Apple Silicon support + other stuff) and smoother on my Mac, which makes things like tab switching much better.
Also it looks better. The small amount I spend per year for storage, etc makes it even better.

This video by Matt O'Dowd explains
@postquantum.bsky.social 's theory of non-quantum gravity.
Since Matt is so good at what he does, the explanation works at many levels of understanding. If you haven't dug into 'postquantum gravity' - here is a great launch point.

How close to our universe can we get if we use a model containing *only* General Relativity. So QM, EM, Strong, Weak are modeled as emergent. Radical simplification.

As a someone looking from the outside in, the democrats should publicly celebrate Trump as a candidate, and then go after moderate Republicans.
Using laws to keep him from running is playing into the Trump team plan.
It's super far away - I think the frequency is going to be in the LIGO low end.
Great session!
Thanks!
