I want to thank Governor Newsom, Speaker Rivas & colleagues in supporting fair redistricting to protect our democracy. This is more than lines on a map, itβs about ensuring every voice counts. The stakes couldnβt be higher: we will defend the Voting Rights Act & protect marginalized communities.
California will not allow Trump to steal our democracy. This morning I stood with state legislators, congressmembers, union leaders, nonprofits & Governor Newsom to defend our democracy. This is not a drill. This ainβt Texas.
