It’s definitely a lot more lively now! :) it’s kinda the only sort of ‘normal’ social media imo, lots of very cool people and artists on there. Definitely agree with the character limit thing because I can hardly get my thoughts out most of the time lol

:-) I guess because I’ve been online more recently I think all these issues are more prevalent then they actually are. I’ve seen a bit of it on tiktok and tumblr but lots of that is either teens who don’t know anything about it or people sharing their experiences without making blanket statements

Like I used to think I could never be in a county that spoke multiple languages because it’d be ‘too difficult’, then I learned more about other cultures and other places and realised it’s really not that difficult at all yk, you might not become fluent but you definitely can understand

As English people (and also something that happens in America and other places) I feel like we’re so used to expecting other people to just speak English that we think learning languages is harder than it is, if that makes sense. Its only recently that I actually realised/learned that isn’t the case

I really hate how in most multilingual like spaces or places the main language just defaults to English. I’m English and cannot speak any other languages and I highly encourage multi linguals to stop accommodating for us
