That happened to me only recently! I knew Junji Ito had a new book out, but I confused with his last new release and accidentally bought another copy of that last newest book isn't the NEW newest book because they weren't too far apart.

Yeah, it can be challenging to write jokes for certain parts of the world. I've been trying to feature more African nations in my comics, but it's very difficult to write jokes about famine and genocide.
But writing jokes is how I cope with the madness of the world in general, so I'll keep trying.
Make them for the love of it, mate. Platforms be damned! That's been my approach.
