This year is definitely the year that keeps on kicking us. We lost Ian’s mum last Sunday. She was 89. She passed away in the early hours after never really recovering from the brain injury she got after a fall in the summer. It was expected, but it still isn’t easy. As these things never are.

Second eye done, no more cataracts! Going home now for a well earned snooze!

Post op ophthalmology today. Eye healing nicely, aced the sight test in my left eye! Which considering I could barely see out of that one three weeks ago is amazing. Right eye being operated on the 24th November!
