I'm already sick of "It's all a distraction from Epstein" replies. This regime is killing innocent people because our leaders are all power-hungry tyrants and war profiteers. When you say it's "just a distraction" you minimize the gravity of what's happening and the lives lost.

Nature Journaling (starting next week on Tuesdays) is slightly different. We'll focus our attention on the beauty around us (weather permitting!). We'll also learn about rendering in different mediums, but there will be less focus on making polished pieces.

7 hours of Nature Illustration at Pratt Fine Arts this past weekend was so fun! I love seeing how everyone was so willing to play and experiment with different techniques.

Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 10.93 RCW to read as follows:7 8 (1) A general authority Washington law enforcement agency or a 9 limited authority Washington law enforcement agency may not employ 10 any individual who was hired as a sworn officer of the United States 11 immigration and customs enforcement on or after January 20, 2025. 12 (2) This section applies prospectively only and does not apply to 13 any individual hired by the agency prior to the effective date of this section.14 15 NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. This act takes effect October 1, 2026. 16 NEW SECTION. Sec. 3. This act may be known and cited as the ICE 17 out act of 2026.

WA state pals: there is currently a state bill (HB2641) that will ban certain federal officers (ICE) from employment at any state law enforcement.
