Does anyone know why the Center for Solutions to Online Violence has gone dark recently? It was such a valuable resource that I used in some of my seminars each semester, but as of a week or two ago it's not accessible. Not sure if it's just another dark sign of the times or something else...

I'm not happy that Musk gave two Nazi salutes at Trump's inauguration, but there's grim satisfaction in the undeniable evidence that this is a fascist movement and a fascist government, something that was already a bald fact but took a bunch of extra words to prove.
Looks like I will be going to SCMS 2025 in Chicago! Looking forward to reconnecting with folks there. My SCMS acceptance/rejection advice every year tho is: it’s a notoriously fickle conference that is a crapshoot to get into, and a rejection is not a reflection on the value of your work!
Just got to the moment in Dragon Age Veilguard where my character, who is trans, had a conversation with 2 other trans people and the second I realized what was happening I started bawling. I never thought I’d see this in a AAA game. Whatever the transphobes say, thank you, dragon age team.
