There's self-sabotage too. I've hovereed over a few of these hideous AI banners and the footage / screenshots don't match up at all and actually look like they might have something scrappy and interesting going on.

The Mysterious trilogy is extremely fluffy and safe, although I do kinda love Firis as it takes some wild swings with the Atelier formula, even if the resulting game is a bit messy.
Arland trilogy has a bit more bite to it, but yeah, nothing quite lives up to Dusk.
Look, if the part of my brain permanently taken up by a stupid Samurai Goroh line delivery is what gets me quoted in the Guardian, so be it.

Yeah feels like they're trying to crack down now on the wrong people, rather than reviewing the existing slop accounts.
C'mon Mario... I somehow got accepted as just some random solo dev, but that was 6 years ago and via the EU side.
