This is so true. I reply to many emails with real conversations. It builds relationships and is a far better use of time.
AI can amplify or diminish creativity, that's really up to the user. That's why teaching AI use and modeling it for our students is so important.

As #edusky & other BlueSky teacher communities emerge, it's worth remembering that many educators left Twitter well before the Elon et. al toxicity period. Excessive self-promotion, lack of professional benefit, stress/burnout, noise, erosion of dialogue, etc. were all factors. Let's learn and grow.
Agreed, portfolios are a valuable assessment tool, but they fall flat if there is no real audience. If students create them, exhibitions of learning are an important extension. #edusky
