I was supposed to go to the ADI conference this coming week. Working with multiple ADI programs- this would be great experience for me.

With how fast things are moving and in all sorts of directions- traveling to Florida as a trans person to an conference where I'd only know a few people.

My Friday night rally classes really uplift me.

1) students asked if they could have a break from talk and just work their dogs
2) two students excitedly showed me their Trick title plans
3) a few let me hold space when they communicated how afraid they were for friends.
I can do all these things

My normal: is being able to create and hold space- the "new" is just where and what that space looks like.

Was doing a drive through the country yesterday, headed to a facility I have driven to at least 50times over the course of the last two years.
The lack of Trump flags this time was significant.
I just wish some people didn’t have to wait for things to get worse before they back down.

Topics include, rest your curiosity, offer your pet a novel food, make a topple, watch your animal forage, take a break with your animals ,light a candle, offer support to someone, just sit, read a short paragraph, rearrange a critter habitat, watching something grow, and build an enrichment course.

I paused my presence on Meta so I could slow down and focus on other alternatives.
I feel cut off. I hate that marginalized people are such a threat that they were the focus of the first EO.

This week was the first day of a new group of students at a brand new location.
Every single one of them read the supply list for class and brought everything I requested. I am over joyed with how well prepared the humans were and how well all the dogs did as a result.
