Got a rule set! Used Sam’s Under/Over as a model for this rule set, but man does it feel good to get it on paper!

Building an #Over/Under inspired wargame meets RP gaming event called Furta Sacra (Holy Theft), which takes place in medieval France following a stalled out war between the English and the French, which brings famine, plague, religious uprisings, and otherworldly dangers. Using a hex map, too.

Got a printed copy of an old game project. Good to see it in print.

Been working through this. Still needs work but it feels like it’s heading in the right direction.

I work on screens all day, so having something printed is a nice break from being on screens. I can enjoy flipping through the pages and get lost along the way. PDFs feel, to me, like I’m back at work, on a screen.

I spent nearly two decades well below the poverty line before I could finally pay my bills comfortably. It’s bullshit to think people can’t have compassion for fellow human beings and offer help. This place sucks.

So, after figuring out some personal health issues and getting a newer, more reliable computer, I can finally start working on Odyssey’s second issue. We are looking for content proposals covering independent games for tabletop, consoles, and more.

Did a thing and sent it in…

Played some Generation Zero this weekend and have to say the game is wild and fun. And weirdly nostalgic, too. Is it a weird Western European/American thing to be nostalgic for the 80s?

Fall is the bestest. The food, the atmosphere, the weather, the holidays, etc. Nothing compares to it.

I’m a teacher stateside and every meeting with admin opens with “you can use AI to…” and the collective eye rolls begin. How about no? Let’s have some serious thoughts on what is actually needed.
