Same, only scanning a few quick times. None the less, it all seems unavoidable even offline. From all directions.
My personal resilience no longer exists so I'm going to require a stoppage of doom and winter.
Smarch hits harder after the weekly barrage all of January/February
I hate using can openers, they're hard haha
This is it. I am just a robot with anxiety and too many tabs open
Thank goodness summer is my employer's slow period
My daughter has asked to play softball this summer (we've been asking her if she wants to play ball for years now). More than happy to oblige, but silently freaking out at solo parenting 2 ball players while no longer having WFH available. How will we eat! How will laundry get done!
Yes absolutely! My friend now works in a hospital setting as well.
Physicians have to run family practices as a business without much support from the health care system. So basically, they have to manage both facets. Being in a hospital setting, you at least have support from hospital staff

Had exactly the kind of day I needed. Whole family's ready for the week (I think!), the coffee maker timer is set for the morning, and all I can do is hope to keep my head above water once more.
Was so close to getting myself a porch goose last week - glad to see you got one and now I hope to live vicariously through you
Freshly 40 haha
It was $70 or $80 for two tickets when I graduated in 2004
Tomorrow is randomly supposed to be cold AF, high of -7? No thank you.
Good riddance, Feb!
Baseball registration for our home association started today, so naturally I was up at 7am to ensure I didn't eff it up for the kid. It's done!
It's not February any more, and while it changes nothing, it's a big mental weight lifted. ๐ February 2026

Houston being booed at the ANS gala in Halifax just made my night. #nspoli
I have an afternoon without my kids home and I'm so excited by this. First up: pharmacy clinic appointment for my ear infection ๐ haha
So glad the joy is back โค๏ธ I'm glad you shared. It gives so many of us hope when we hear of folks who are feeling the joy.
A black and white cat snoozes contentedly on a blanket on the floor.
It's a day before Caturday, but I feel all can benefit from a sleeping elderly cat in the newsfeed
There is justice sorely lacking for this woman, whether it was a workplace accident with no accountability, or it was murder.
