Literally everything Trump promised was a lie, but those of us who knew better and warned everyone have to pay the same price as all the idiots that believed him.
Trump has created a PMEPS. “Permanent Middle East Police State.” We’ll be there for years, escorting ships and protecting nearby neighboring countries. This will inflate the cost of gas by $1.00 - $1.50 per gallon for the foreseeable future.
Don’t even get me started on the national debt.
The Trump admin launched a war alongside, and at the urging of, Netanyahu. Not one U.S. official is allowed to claim surprise or dismay that Netanyahu escalated the conflict; that is what he does. Escalation wasn't just foreseeable, it was guaranteed.
Markets are *very* unhappy about developments in Iran.
Those terrible job numbers that came out Friday are before Trump started war of choice in Middle East that sent oil prices skyrocketing. Trump wrecking our economy, causing massive suffering from working families, for nothing but a few $billion ill-gotten gains for Trump & Jared from Qatar & Saudis.
Our problem is that Trump is running US *exactly like one of his businesses* (1) Steal as much money as he can (2) Keep rolling forward to next project as previous project implodes.
A handful of Republicans in Congress & Supreme Court can end this nightmare any time they choose, and history will remember them as saviors of the republic, no matter what terrible things they did to US in last 10 years: insane we cannot find a few volunteers for this plum deal!
If this keeps up, threat of boycott of World Cup in US will become pretty serious: hard to get people to come to country that is destabilizing world with wars of stupidity AND is notoriously tossing visitors into concentration camps. Regardless, our tourist industry is smoked.
