It is possible to use renewable energy to produce methane. This could and should be used to avoid or delay the collapse of β€œnatural gas” industry because it will accelerate the transition to carbon free energy.

Here are 4 districts the TX GOP gerrymandered to gain seats in November, with the Dem and GOP primary vote. Dems outvoted GOPs in every one of them.

Dummymander? Maybe.
If Texas emerges from the midterms with only an R+1 that's hysterical

Trump’s billionaire allies will now own CNN, Fox News, CBS, WaPo, WSJ and NY Post β€” plus 185+ local tv stations and news in 100 markets.

They also control X, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp, TikTok, Truth and Twitch.

This is all by design to manipulate and surveil us.

Pay attention.

Does QED have any capability of examining the figures, or does it analyze the text describing the results, assuming that the text accurately summarizes the data?

Getting word of federal immigration agents operating in multiple areas around Chicagoland this morning. Rapid responders report agents took at least one person around 7 a.m. from Chicago's Hermosa neighborhood; agents were also seen in the suburb of Berwyn, though it's not clear if anyone was taken.

Do you remember that very night -- the night before the day of all days, four years ago?

How many of us didn’t sleep at all.

We sat in the dark in silence, in front of our laptops, refreshing news feeds.

Dear Director Bhattacharya and Deputy Director Lorsch: I saw a post Director Bhattacharya retweeted about replication in economics. This begins with:

Between 1974 and 2014, only 0.1% of publications in the top 50 economics journals were replication studies.
That's 40 years. Thousands of papers. Almost none replicated.
We've built careers on findings no one has verified.
When economists finally replicate studies, 40-67% fail depending on the study.

Personally, I can’t stand these articles that Edsall writes in which he collects a bunch of quotes and strings them together.

Question for election law lawyers, can the ludicrous case that was used to confiscate the 2020 Fulton Co. ballots be used to file a preliminary injunction to preemptively block the β€œDOJ” from ratfuckery the midterms?

This seems to be iOS specific. The reader button on MacOS responds instantly and on one tap. My impression is that iOS may not cache the data as aggressively as previously (or as the Mac) or the network request are slower than previously.

So far looking and working great overall. Thanks!
The one minor rough edge is the reader button seems off - seems to require a long press or something.

Crockett: "The US is falling apart, partially bc he's allowing for killings in the street, but also bc we have a 34 count convicted felon being shielded from any type of accountability as it relates to a child sex trafficking ring. I don't understand why we're pretending any of this is normal."
