All the bright green bits glow when exposed to UV light! (the eyes of the skull, the bone, the inner half rim of the hoop)
including museum GUESTS (things like “this experiment is too hard / not age appropriate” both verbally and just by vibes, like watching younger kids struggle and older kids be bored) and management still be like “well those guests didn’t tell US” like yeah?? you don’t INTERFACE WITH THEM?????
i will never recover from being the person who people went to with concerns because i wasn’t scared to go to supervisors, only to have them go “well we haven’t heard these concerns from anyone else, so probably you’re the only one who feels that way, so we won’t do anything about it”

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
Bumping this for the daytime crowd, as I'd like to get a heating-oil order in tomorrow if I can. 🙂
