Plus I've investigated a group in the puritan crowed, I know enough of the skeletons in their closet to know what I said is true, at least in this case.

I wonder if they are the way they are because they know just how disturbing the skeletons in their own closet truly became, so they pretend that we're the ones with similarly fucked skeletons to shield themselves with righteousness and fear.
