Beaten to posting about it but had a good time talking about sports betting and the impacts in Ohio with Spectrum News. There is a lot we are working on in Ohio to try to better support those with gambling problems and the TEA Lab is continuing to do work in this area.
Ohio University is an R1 institution in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, making it a beautiful place to live and work. The community here has been very welcoming since I started 3 years ago. I have also felt very supported as an ECR within my department and the university.

Early identification and discussion could serve as prevention, helping people address multiple addiction risks before they escalate. Sometimes the concern itself tells us something important about overall distress and addiction problems.
