This is an irresponsible, misleading post that misrepresents what Leavitt said. There's enough awful stuff happening. Don't confuse people.

The catastrophic impact to local health where the air is poisoned, as well as to our global ecosystem as they literally set the planet on fire and fill the atmosphere with pollutants

in the store just now and there was a couple looking at those prepped toddler meals and he was saying “everything’s better if you just cook from scratch” and she goes “they don’t look bad and they’d save me so much time” and he just kept repeating “it’s better if you cook”

I did not commit a crime

Happening now: ~200 protesters have gathered off Chicago's Michigan Avenue this afternoon for another demo condemning U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran and Lebanon.

Israeli airstrikes killed dozens in Lebanon overnight. Thousands of families have been displaced after widespread evacuation orders.

If they are hitting water infrastructure in Iran, that’s a crime against humanity on an enormous scale. I planned to publish something on Iran’s water crisis this week but it obviously got bumped. Iran was already in a critical state pre war, destroying water infrastructure will kill innocent people

ian huntley is dead. i'll always remember how the british press attempted to incite hatred against the trans community by reporting he was transitioning, then apologised to him for incorrect reporting instead of apologising to trans people

Folks in health care: DO NOT FUCKING WEAR THESE-**ESPECIALLY** IN PATIENT CARE AREAS!

If I ever catch a colleague wearing these, I am reporting them to management, the state, whatever press outlets I can, and to the patient & their family.

I do not care who it pisses off. Just fucking DO NOT.

To say Kamala Harris "predicted" what's happening now is giving her a lot.

They literally TOLD us what they planned to do.
Out loud.

That's like me watching the 10-day weather report and then saying I predict it's gonna rain. lol

I think we think of complacency differently. To me, "trust the process" sounds like a form of complacency.

Marxism is a living science that must be itterated upon & its ideals reinforced. Otherwise, you risk movements losing focus & stagnating, especially on a longer timeline.

A post on X from the betting platform Polymarket that says “BREAKING: Anthropic CEO says Claude may or may not have gained consciousness, as the model has begun showing symptoms of anxiety.”

Literally as I’m arguing with someone about whether AI companies are misleading people into believing their technology possesses God-like super-intelligence I see this monstrosity

If we are being honest: Claude didn't do any of those things.
People USING Claude as an excuse for greed extraction are.

• Claude didn't choose to work for the military.
• Claude didn't build data centers.
• Claude didn't defund mental health.
• Claude didn't refuse security protocols.

Humans did.

I personally try to avoid thinking of it as an inevitability, because I think it can cause complacency, but I understand how that can also be motivating when things seem grim.

I do think the collapse of capitalism is inevitable tho. I think it's our job to organize & be ready for when that happens.

Never been so glad my company's equipment is outdated & I was trained with the fallbacks for if there's a power or internet outage. I don't get my they're letting the badly applied statistics toy have the access & privileges it takes to mess up this badly.

It'll probably be meh at best.

I hope they don't bring Joss back, but god knows Hollywood loves protecting predators.

I'm so sick of endless sequals, reboots, remakes, remaster, etc.

Nazis are always falling for this shit!

This is literally a strategy American's used in WW2. They deployed a bunch of inflatable tanks to trick the Nazis.

Fascists so obsessed with the past are so quick to forget their own history.

the US has already lost in iran, their only hope was iran collapsing in a day or two, and it didn't, so now their only options are to declare victory & slink away or try to put boots on the ground & lose way harder

Incredibly shit news about and from the creator of the "Chikn Nuggit" cartoon shorts; they're quitting the series, and Buzzfeed, due to forced AI integration.

They're on Bluesky as @kyrakupetsky.bsky.social. Please follow them to stay up-to-date on their new projects.

lol “have you tried being a feminine boy” one time at school a guy slammed my head into the table repeatedly and half the class chanted QUEER QUEER QUEER QUEER

and that’s just picking one event of hundreds. I didn’t just try it, I bled for it, and you know what? it still didn’t stick.

One would think "Therapists and doctors are telling kids they're trans" and "Therapists and doctors are listening to kids who say they're trans" would be completely opposed stances, until you realize what they both have in common is "Trans kids are being permitted to exist"

Palestine Diaspora Movement

Hello [REDACTED]
We do not collaborate with The New York Times.
Your email asks about money sent to Gazan families "since the war in Gaza began." Let us first correct the premise. This is not a war. It is a genocide. Calling it a war is part of the problem. It obscures the reality of a colonized people being massacred by a military machine backed by the United States and defended, sanitized, and rhetorically softened by institutions like yours.
The New York Times has spent far too long parroting Zionist propaganda and laundering Israeli state narratives while Palestinians bury their dead. That kind of coverage does not merely misinform. It helps create the political climate in which Palestinian slaughter becomes explainable, defensible, and forgettable.
So no, we will not be sharing any figures, internal data, or community information with a paper that has so thoroughly damaged its credibility on Palestine. Quite frankly, we would rather chew jeans than help The New York Times extract from our community while continuing to fail it.
Do not contact us again for this purpose, The Palestine Diaspora Movement Team
