2025 saw the biggest take-up of the scheme yet, with grants supporting a combined value of work of β¬300,000.

An Bord PleanΓ‘la clears way for hotel on Vicar Street by well-known developer
The sole appeal against the hotel proposal was rejected on technical grounds.
A planned hotel at Vicar Street Venue now has permission following the refusal of an appeal by An Bord PleanΓ‘la. Variations of the hotel have been proposed since 2008. The current version designed by Grafton Architects incl. 182 rooms and a creative arts space.
