Edinburgh council tax rise 'lowest in Scotland' Edinburgh's council tax is to rise by 4 per cent next year, hailed as likely to be the lowest increase in Scotland.

We’re disappointed to see a 7% rent rise for Edinburgh’s council tenants, with many already under financial pressure.
But we welcome the £1.6bn housing investment and hope it brings real improvements.
ETF will keep amplifying tenants’ voices - get in touch to get involved.
