Goodoh. I have compared to our iso17025 calibrated thermometers. They are good.

You don’t need a network video recorder. You need a device that has storage and can run protect.

You can lock down the new ssid so devices on it can only connect to the Internet. Not to other local devices on the network.

Lots of config to discover.

04.08.2025 19:57 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

If the device is connecting to an ssid that is on two access points, it might be choosing the wrong one. Nail it down by putting ssid on one ap only

04.08.2025 19:53 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

It’s way more flexible than you have realised…

04.08.2025 19:52 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Ie create kateiot ssid on 2.4 only and apply only to the ap nearest to the device.

04.08.2025 19:46 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

You can have multiple ssids . Each with their own settings. And apply that ssid to one wifi aps. So apply it to the ap nearest to the device only so it can’t roam to the ap that is further away.

That’s probably your problem. Check which ap the device is connecting to

04.08.2025 19:46 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Try a new ssid that is just 2.4 ghz
