If youβre wondering where all that branded Proper 12 taken off Irish shelves ended up, try Kaufland in Bulgaria.
Iβm not disagreeing. Iβm just saying why I think he has local support based on some experience.
Itβs still an accepted narrative around where heβs from, as the vote shows. Most people there are decent folk and, as you say, have suffered more than most from the drug trade but they donβt connect Hutch with that. No way would they vote for a drug dealer.
Yeah, Iβm not trying to justify him in anyway. He has successfully distanced himself from the local drug trade. The narrative is he robbed from the rich and got lucky with property. Lots of blind eyes turned.
I know a lot of people around the north inner city who think highly of him. He set up the boxing club and has given money to people whoβve run into financial problems. I know one lad who he paid for a holiday to reward him for getting clean from drugs. Different world.
Fun fact: He first met his ex-wife when she interviewed him for Northside People.
Met Labour's AodhΓ‘n Γ RΓordΓ‘in in his office in Brussels for a chat recently, nothing was off limits. Turns out that conducting an interview the morning after Trump's win makes for great copy.

Whoβs this lad running on an AI ticket?
Why would he think anyone wants to hear from him? His ego knows no bounds.
Celebrating our wedding anniversary today in Burgas with a very satisfying 10k. Well organised event and beautiful route along the coastline.
If you liked Stara Zagora youβre going to love Plovdiv.
Yeah, Iβm chuffed. Before direct flights, I used to fly to Sofia via Frankfurt or Paris. Bucharest might be another option, especially if thereβs a bus to Plovdiv from there (should be). Itβs a nice stadium and Plovdiv is a really lovely city.
Fly to Manchester, get a flight to Plovdiv. Think a direct flight isnβt feasible. Direct flight home was β¬350 earlier today. Itβll cost me about β¬2 to get there as I live 40km from the stadium luckily enough.
Reasons to keep my twitter account going dwindle by the day. Always check the lineups an hour before KO and Twitter was the easiest way to do it. UNTIL NOW!
Small world. Went for beer earlier here in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria, where I now live and met a guy at the bar who tells me how me met his hero in Dublin a few years ago because his mate lives beside him. Yeah, McGregor. Had to break the news that most Irish people hate him. He was genuinely stunned.
I can safely say heβs worse than most criminals though.
I was until recently a director of my management company. We ignored this rule, but only for units who paid their fees.

Thatβs technically correct but the rapist Conor McGregor would have a hard job bringing a libel case against anyone who said it.
We are in awe of the determination & bravery of Nikita Hand as she endured the civil process to seek justice for the brutality she received at the hands of Conor McGregor. We hope that the verdict today gives Nikita a sense of vindication and will help her healing and recovery.
What sheβs had to put up with and the torment continues with McGregorβs appeal www.rte.ie/news/2024/11...
McGregor appealing.
Who wants to be my 600th follower? Donβt all rush at once.
Good for her. She risked so much for some kind of justice. All heβs lost is some money. He doesnβt have anything.
Four amazing albums from the year you turned 16.
Half way through the final season. Not like stuff Iβd normally watch but Iβm engrossed.
Disclaimer on Apple TV. Really good psychological thriller with a good twist starring Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline.
I see your piggery and raise you six years working in the gut house of an abattoir in my 20s, emptying lamb stomach contents into a skip. Still felt cleaner than doomscrolling Muskβs Twitter.
Harsh, but it arguably sends a message. Football hooliganism in English grounds only ended when the started handing down heavy sentences. dublinpeople.com/news/court/a...
