A post on Threads from Miss Rachel, a well-known children’s educator and entertainer: “What’s it like for kids in Gaza?” my little boy asks me. Well, kids don’t have medical care & can’t go to the doctor like us. They don’t get to go to school like you & learn & play. They don’t have enough food or water or a safe place to live. “Why?”🥺 I feel my heart breaking. I can’t tell my son it’s some natural disaster. That there’s not enough food or medicine in the world. It’s that grown-ups are keeping these basic human rights away from children. It’s a choice.
