Thanks! Vaulting will be to increase player mobility and combat variety. The combat felt a bit slow, so I'm trying to crank it up a notch before I start designing/adding more enemies. I added dodging a couple weeks ago which helped, but I think the ability to "hop" walls opens up level design a lot!

Thanks for your input, I couldn't agree more! It IS confusing and I've avoided it by keeping a private non-fed server for a small group of friends, essentially forcing "one and only one context" but that's not a good answer for mass adoption/discord replacement

I definitely agree the general structure of Matrix can be quite confusing and I've only avoided it by maintaining a private non-federated server for a small circle

Out of curiosity, have you tried Element? And if so, what are/were your pain points with it? For myself, I'm a big fan of Element and its design, but find the admin side of Matrix a bit obtuse. I recognize my stance is heavily tech-nerd-biased though so I'd love to hear your thoughts!
